First bloom of the beautiful and fragrant Champaca Magnolia – Chembakam in our garden.
This plant was on my wishlist for a very long time. The previous plant died back after we came back home from a week long trip…due to extreme heat.
When growing up…I remember flower sellers who used to door delivery fresh flowers for Puja every morning…there used to be strings of Jasmine and Kanakambharam…but what fascinated me most was the beauty and fragrance of Chembakam…the golden yellow colour & the enchanting fragrance 🥰
I’m really excited to grow this plant in our garden… and look forward to enjoying a lot of beautiful, fragrant flowers from our plant.
